Stephanie Rosenberg is a Tony Award-winning Broadway producer, visionary entrepreneur, and founder of The Empress Productions, a boutique New York-based company known for delivering high-impact theatrical experiences and Grammy-winning albums. Her producing credits span the globe, including smash hits like Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Anastasia, Matilda, On The Town, and Gore Vidal’s The Best Man.

But Stephanie’s journey didn’t begin in a boardroom—it began on stage. A lifelong performer, director, and choreographer, writer, she earned her BFA in Theatre from Adelphi University, trained at The Neighborhood Playhouse, and apprenticed at the prestigious Williamstown Theatre Festival. Her firsthand experience in the spotlight gives her a rare edge as a producer: she champions both the creative and commercial sides of every project.

Stephanie launched The Empress Productions in 2013 to create world-shaping work that’s emotionally resonant andfiscally sound. Since then, she’s helped develop Tony-winning shows, Grammy-winning albums (The Color Purple), and bold Off-Broadway productions, all while consulting for artists, creatives, and investors eager to break into the industry.
