Carrie Lynn Certa is a two-time Emmy-nominated producer with a distinguished career spanning television series, independent feature films, live events and short-form content across the United States and internationally. Her work as a line producer has taken her to diverse locations such as Ethiopia, India, France, and the Philippines. Known for her ability to seamlessly bridge the creative and logistical needs of productions, Carrie brings a wealth of expertise to every network and studio project she undertakes.

Carrie’s roots in theater have significantly influenced her career, providing her with a strong foundation in stage performance, storytelling, live music events and theater production. Her theater training has enriched her capacity to handle both on-stage and behind-the-scenes roles, contributing to her versatility and comprehensive skill set. One of her proudest moments was when her writing debut, “Happily Ever After”, was produced off-Broadway through the coveted Samuel French One Act Play Competition. 

A dedicated lifelong learner, Carrie is committed to staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements. In recognition of her dedication to professional development through her extensive educational series created for the Producers Guild of America (PGA) members, which helped producers maintain their competitive edge in the industry, she was awarded the AP Council Commitment Award in 2020, the highest honor the guild awards.

Carrie has also served six years as a national board member and two years as Vice President of the PGA. Her leadership and advocacy for inclusion and diversity have been widely recognized, including her selection in 2018 as one of the “50 Women Who Can Change Media/Entertainment” by Gloria Feldt’s Take the Lead organization. Carrie's unwavering commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion is evident in all her professional endeavors, making her a transformative figure in the media and entertainment industry.
